Gear Swap Help!

I am planning to have the gear's swapped in my truck in a few week's but can't decide which one's I want. I am running 33" tire's on my truck and am thinking about getting 4.10 gear's installed. My current gear's are 3.55's. I would like to over gear just a little so that I can get more power off the line and going over hill's. After reading on various site's though I've been hearing alot of complaint's about 4.10 gear's whinning at about 50mph. Is this from not having them installed properly or the brand of gear's? After reading about this i've started to lean toward's 4.30's. Would that be too much and are they available for my truck? I have a 2wd with the 9.75 rear end. Thaks for the help!

If you want more performance off the line 4.30 will be a good bet with the
33's. I have 4.10s in my truck and love the diffrence it made to the puiny 4.6 i have. I didnt notice any whinning ( have them in for almost 5k). If I were you I would go with the 4.30 i have a 4x4 and didnt have the option to go with the 4.30. I am running a yukon gear and 285/70/r17 nitto grapplers. You will notice a slight decrease in gas milage on highway. Hope this helps and good luck

Thanks for the help! 4.30's aren't available for the 9.75 rear end's though. I guess i'll just have to try out the 4.10's.

I have 33's and 4.10 and they are great. I couldn't see going in higher with that size tire.
