axel questions
Okay I have a 97 F250 LD and i was wondering if it was possible to do an axel swap from a F250HD because i hate the 7 lug bolt pattern. and if it has been done before how hard is it to do it??

It might be as easy as just replacing the axle shafts themselves. First, I would find out if the axle bearing and seal are the same for both. If so, there you go. Get some junkyard axles and try it.
