Question Grinding/shudder noise with sharp right turn from dead stop

For some reason my truck makes a grinding or shudder type of noise when I take off from a dead stop while making a sharp right turn and it only makes that noise for maybe 2 or 3 revolutions of a tire, then returns to normal. I really can't tell if it's coming from the front or rear. I've found some threads saying maybe it's a front wheel bearing?? AutoZone wants $284 for a "Timken / Wheel Bearing/Hub Assembly-Front."

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!!
-Justin

jack it up in the front grap tire on top and bottom and see if their is any play, also roatate it and see if there is any noise in the bearing, do other side to compare usually fron twheel bearing will roar and of you turn when going straight beairng will load and go quiet for a bit.

Most likely the clutch packs in your posi unit in the rear end. It will do it in both directions, you just notice it under these conditions. Wheel bearings don't grind when turning. They whine while driving. Good luck.

Sounds good guys, thanks a lot!!
If it's my clutch packs, will it harm anything if I wait for warm weather in a few months before I fix it??

Won't hurt anything, just slow down your turns, and you won't notice it as much.
