8.8 rear end

what size is the cross shaft on a 8.8 rear end? Is it 3/4 or 7/8?

I have not heard of a cross shaft.
Do mean the "Differential Pinion Shaft" if so it is 7/8.

If your talking about your 97 ford its a 7/8 pin, the 28 spline 8.8 had 3/4 pins, and 31 splines had 7/8
