i guess its not really intermittent, it only happened once since i had the truck. what happen was i had to drive 35mph in 2nd gear for 45 mins to go pull my brothers truck out of the precarious teetering position he was in. i get there and i cant get 4x4 to shift. so i just wound up scrambling up the hill in 2wd.

2 weeks later, i charged the battery (left the tuner plugged in oops!) started the truck and put it in 4 lo. it went no problem. loaded my camper and moved it from my bros house to mine.

what would cause an intermittent problem like that? on the trail i had no lights, no clunking or solenoid/relay noises. just flat didnt like the idea at all.
