Annoying squek

I have a 03 4X4 and i have a squeek now for a while and it is driving me nuts. It is in the front driver side. I don't know if it is the brakes or what. The squeek is one that if i'm driving around slow in town, it makes one squeek per revolution of the tire. Any ideas what this could be?

I've got that squeak too. I silenced the squeak by applying spray silicone to where the cv joint goes inside the front spindle. My guess is there is a dust seal in there that got a little dry, and squeaky.
Hope this helps.

I had the same annoying squeak, and ignored it even after finding the vanilla milkshake in my front diff during gear swap. Come to find out truck was a victim of an "over the hub flood" ... both hubs totally shot.....lot's of corrosion, bearings dry, and lots of evidence of bearings getting very hot to the point of melting plastic cover that goes over the abs sensor that is actually inside the hub.....it's really worth the 15 or so minutes to remove tire, brake caliper and spin rotor by hand and listen for ANY kind of resistence. hubs were about 210.00 a piece with a little sweet talkin to the cutie at my local Ford dealer..If you have abs, new sensors come with the new hubs...good luck!

https://www.f150online.com/forums/ot...t-how-too.html this is pretty much what my hubs looked like, corrosion and all....hope it helps

Before tearing the hubs apart, check your brake pads. It might just be time for a brake job.

I kinda figured since pads being removed was part of the process, they would be checked, poor assumption on my part.....at any rate, the noise described was exactly what I was experiencing........and going through the process of elimination brought me to my conclusion....
