hey everyone,

i'm trying to change my VSS gear so i can have my speedometer read correctly since I just put on larger tires.

My question is - is the VSS gear location on the right side of the tranny towards the back right before the transfer case?

also, what tools and or clearence issues might there be? I think i see where its located but i have no idea how to get my hands up in there. I've got a chiltons truck manual but it just says what the VSS gear is, and that you can check some charge with a voltometer to make sure its working? I just need to change the plastic gear, any ideas??

nevermind, found it. real simple i just couldnt see it in the dark last night. if anybody needs a description let me know
