Help with Steering Issue
Anybody have a problem with a slight vibration / rubbing, and or "roughness" in their steering column when turning the wheel?
I just bought an 06 Lariat used and have been noticing this. Sometimes you can't feel it at all, especially at very low speeds, but most of the time, when you turn the steering wheel even the slightest degree, you feel sort of a roughness or rubbing in the wheel, almost as if you are feeling the tires vibrate through the steering column. The feeling is fairly slight too; it is not drastic or an overwhelming sensation. Its weird, but I'm not sure if anything is actually wrong with the truck, and I dread having shops road test my vehicle. Any guidance on this issue would be much appreciated.
