um i see that all the time with cheap ubolts on skyjacker kits and the like they stretch and the nuts strip, kinda makes bad noises when your axle can rock, chinnese crap like found at advance and autozone.

go to www.ruffstuffspecialties.com Dan is the owner he makes the UBolts they are the highest quality available, made in america by an american company, and come with the tall nuts. he ships fast tell him east coast gear supply sent you.

I had one fuse on me 3 weeks ago when I put on Traction bars. U-bolts are designed to be used once. ON and OFF. That's it. What happens is the threads on the u-bolts stretch and heat up when they are tightened to the axle during the initial install. If you can get the U-bolt off using an impact wrench you have the duration of time it takes for the bolt to cool before you scr*wed. Once the bolt cools, the nut will no longer be able to travel up the bolt as the threads have warped due to heat.

I had 4 made custom for me for $72. It took me longer to find the place than it did to have them made.

I have some brand new Superlift ones that might work for you. PM me with your suspension setup if you think you would be interested.
