Has any one welded their diff??? And is it possible? I have done it 10000000 times in my nissan 240sx.

 

what do you mean??? welding the gears to make it like a locker??

 

No, I have seen to many welded difs break out on the trail. Bad idea IMO. Just buy yourself a detroit, wont ever have to worry about carrier breakage again.

Unless its a trail only (and I doubt a F150 is) then I wouldn't do it, just my 2 cents.

 

or find a used spool on the cheap
