whining from front end

whining from front end

as i was driving the front right started whining really loud and kept getting louder as i went faster. anything i can check out here? its not when im in 4x4 btw

Sounds like a wheel bearing going out. Pull the wheel off and do a visual on the brake pads and check the hub for excessive play.

ok this is odd, drive down the road and it starts to whine. engage 4x4 and it stops and when i disengage it, it dont start whining

ill check the bearing now

so today it didnt do it when i took it to the stealership of course. took the mechanic who is working on it for a drive and it finally started again. he thought it might be the vacuum lines that lock the hubs, by then it was 5 so hes going to check it out tomorrow
