SYE kits for our trucks ?

Anyone seen a kit that gets rid of our RETARDED slip yoke ?

What happens if I "candy cane" my rear driveshaft ? If you remove the rear driveshaft, the transfer case will lose all/most fluid. Anyone seen a SYE kit for it ( SYE= Slip Yoke Eliminater). Was lookin online, didn't find much.

Its either this, or carry around a spare rear driveshaft all the time (and our are far from small)

Pull the output shaft and drill and tap it for a bolt. Drill a hole in the center of the slip yoke. If an when you pretzel the drive shaft pull the slip yoke off driveshaft and bolt it to the output shaft. You could have a shop build you a telescoping driveshaft and use that with a machined slip yoke. You could also change to an Atlas T-case and go wild!

I have been toying with making my own SYE for years.
I am a self-employed Grain Broker. This stuff is my hobby...

Windsor is across the river from Detroit. Detroit = Midwest. But that isn't my market. I mostly move stuff from Ontario into the US or Québec & vice versa. I am fluent in English and French so I make my money in the translation.

My daily driver is my Toy. My son has a 12 second Honda that I help tinker with. It is currently in my driveway awaiting an oil change....... I just did my truck so he can do his car.
