The Ford tech who works on my truck when ever I take in to the dealer does work on the side out of his house on weekends. While at the dealer today, I asked him what he would charge me to change my gears if I get the parts. He said $600 for both front and rear and I can get the gears and mini install kits for less than $400 for both. So basically I can get new gears F&R installed for a grand. So, the question is, should I go for it? And is $1000 for F&R gears installed a good price?

make sure it doesnt void your warranty! ask the Tech he should know! if not the jump on it its the best deal you will ever get!

 

You wont find that cheaper anywhere unless you get free install.

Good price yes working at home would void your warrenty ask your self it the money saved is worh the risk ,I would say yes
