I just bought an Auburn hp for my truck (99 f150 4x4) still waiting for my 4.10's to show up. Anyway I have seen a couple of piosts that said not to run synthetic oil with the Auburn and others said it's ok. I was hopeing to run royal purple. Will this be ok with the Auburn or no. Will the synthetic cause the LS to slip more and not allow it to lock in????

 

I have an Auburn Ected locker in my truck and I run royal purple synthetic. Its an LS/Spool selectable and I have no problems.
