HELP on warranty work
Well guys/gals my odo is now reading 34,300 and I need to make my last appointment for warranty work. I was wondering if we can get a list of things to look for just prior to running out of the dreaded 36,000 mile mark.
What all has happened to your trucks prior to the end of warranty that was or wasn't common???
So far my list looks like this:
1. Door crack
2. Chrome on front bumper peeling.
3. Front end jonce test
4. Wet bellhousing. possibly rear main
5. Tailgate handle too stiff, won't open correctly
6. Brake booster from f250
7. Sagging headliner on one side.
8. Squeaky leaf springs
Am I missing anything???

I don't know if you know this already or not but a lot of people have had problems with there rear sliding window leaking. I don't know if you have one of these or not, but I know I got mine covered under warranty.
There is also a TSB concerning the roof being uneven on supercabs. When they attatched the roof bows to the roof, it drew the roof in too much and makes an uneven roof. You have to stand in the back of the bed to notice this. There is a fix for it too, that doesn't require anything major. Also look for cracks in the filler on the roof for the rain channels. If you have a flareside and have cracks, dings or whatever on your wheelwells from debris being kicked up by your rear wheels, they have an insert available by TSB to be installed.

Have you had your exhaust pipe rerouted BEHIND your right rear tire? Need to have that done. Be sure to check your wheels and center hubcap for corrosion or pitting. They will replace that too!
