I have a 05 f150 and the 4x4 high light in the dash doesn't light up, sometimes it will flash 1 time but nothing else. The 4x4 low light works fine.The 4 wheel drive works fine in high and low just this problem with the light. This is electric shift any idea's? Thanks Mike

 

bulb out? going out? loose connection?

 

Not a bulb problem I have checked that

 

hmmm, well if the 4x4 is working fine then i wouldt think it has anything to do with the transfer case itself. could be posistion sensor but if it engages correctly its ok. you would know if theres a problem with the sensor because it wouldnt know its in 4x4 & continue trying to shift.

it could be the gem not continuisly sending power to the bulb, a short in the connection, or a loose connection.

you could try this thread in the transmission section
it would probly get alot more replies
