96 f150 6 inch lift. driveshaft woes.
Hey guys I just completed the lift on my truck. The kit I used was a superlift 6 inch kit. The only issue I seem to have after taking it for a test is vibration while driving. My neighbor is a mechanic and believes it is due to the angle on the rear driveshaft at the transfer case. The kit did not come with a spacer, so it did suck the shaft out about an inch at the splines up there. The kit came with blocks for the rear, and they did appear to keep the same angle back there.
I guess my question is, would a drive shaft spacer solve my problem or am I going to have to do something fancy? My neighbor mentioned something about a double cardon joint. If a spacer would solve my problem I imagine it would be lest costly.
Any ideas? Thanks, Rob
*edit* it is the standard cab short box model*

Hey guys I have somewhat of an update. Today I had a machinist balance the shaft and a shop shim the rear axle to try and adjust the angles. The vibration is better but definately still there. From the people I have talked to it seems I need to upgrade to a double cardon joint. Unfortunately my transfer case has the slip yoke, and I need an eliminator or adapter of some sort. I would still like to try a spacer to push the yoke back in a bit and see if that helps. I can not find one anywhere though. Where do you guys get these spacers?
