splines in a 9.75 diff?

splines in a 9.75 diff?
can someone tell me if the 9.75 diff have a spline count like the 8.8's or is there just a 9.75 diff and thats it. no spline count, or if there is it doesnt matter.

8.8 rear is 31 spline
9.75 is 34 spline

when does a 8.8 diff have a 28 spline?

my front diff is a 8.8, how do i tell if its 28 or 31?

Front is 28

4.0 rangers, lincoln, crown vics etc. 28 spline

All F150 rears 31 spline
