4.56 or 4.88
I use my truck every day and do alot of highway driving. I currently have 35" tires and am going to be re-gearing ASAP.
I also do alot of highway driving while towing anywhere between 3,000 and 7,000 lbs.
I know that I cant leave anything alone and will be going for a 6" lift and 37's at some point.
Gas prices arent really an issue due to company gas card. I am more worried about damage to to the higher RPM range......
What would you do? 4.10,4.56,4.88?

With 37's going on I would go with the 4.88. Look for gas mileage to go down another 2mpg or more counting the lift, heavier tires and gearing. Look's ought to make it worth the added cost's!

If it seals the deal, I have 4.88s and 35 on my truck right now and love it.
Highway rpms are higher and yoru gas mileage goes down a bit, but when you compute the difference between what you could have with 4.56's and what you have with 4.88's, its a 6% RPM difference between the two at a given highway speed.
Like the said earlier, you tach wont notice the difference.

a cold air intake save alot of gas if you can find one cheap craigslist ebay and a edge tuner is a nice handle tool and gas saver
I'm in a similar situation. I do alot of driving everyday, and work pays for the gas. But, I don't plan on doing a lift so I won't be going any bigger than 35's. W/ my 3:73's now, should I go to 4:56 or 4:88's? I don't want to go too radical, but I want some more low end grunt. I assume these will be the same price right?
