Guys,

I am looking at 4.10's as well as I went from 255 to 305's on my 4x2 97 F150 (4.6). My concern is I am gonna wind out to quickly or run to many r's..... I dont drag race or 4x4 her or tow at this point. I would like to meet up with a CA member and see his rig. Veloci if you are still reading I have a guy in Brea CA quote me $398 installed for 4.10 in my truck. Any CA members willing to hook up? Guys outside that how bad will my RPM's be if I go to 4.10 in my truck?

Unfortunately, Goodyear doesn't post revs/mile on their web site, but those tires should roll at something like 630/mile.

With 4.10s 60 MPH in direct would be:

630 X 4.10 = 2580 RPM approx.

If you've got an auto 60 MPH would be about 1810 RPM in OD, with a manual about 2065.

A stock 3.55 rear with 255/70-16s turns about 100 RPM less in drive and about 75 or so less in OD. Not enough difference to worry about or probably even to notice

Cool

HI!... COOLSVILE : My best 0-60mph time so far is 6.3 seconds, measured with a G-TECH PRO.
