"Pop" felt while turning the steering wheel
Brand new 07 F-150 XLT and when I turn the steering wheel just past the point of resistance, I feel sort of a pop. It kinda feels like it would be sloppy steering that you would feel with a bad ball joint or something but not as severe. It doesn't seem too bad, just an annoyance at this point. Might take it into the stealer to have them look at it if it keeps bothering me.
I looked under the dash and watched the shaft turn all the way from the wheel to the firewall....can't see anything.
Has anyone else felt anything like this in their truck?

So what you're saying is when you turn your wheel to the steering blocks, then you try to go PAST the steering block (which isn't good for it in the first place), it pushes back?
If so, then yes, that's you running into the steering blocks.

No, it is just when you start turning it from straight...right at the point where the wheels really start to turn...long before the steering blocks.
I know exactly what you are talking about. Do you have any suspension mod? I think its the steering assembly (Tie rods? I'm not sure what the terminology is). I felt it when I first got the truck lifted. I assumed it was the joints popping due to different geometry from the lift.
