Ok, I finally got the correct teeth for my speedometer. Now, where is the gear located at? I know, I know, smack my hands for not buyg a Haynes manual yet.I've only owned the truck two years

Look on the driver's side of the transmission near the rear. You'll see where the speedometer cable goes in. The gear is on the end of the cable. Remove the cable from the tranny, swap gears and put the cable back in.
