OK I know this is a topic on this forum a few time but I am still needing a little help. Well heres the issue. I have a 1997 XLT with Auto trans and Manual transfer shifter. When the truck is put into 4 hi both rear wheels spin but nothing happens in the front end and when i put it in low it makes this afull grinding i dont know if its that somthings not lining up or if shes going out on me. But either way the front wheels dont move. I know the front end issue is most likly to be a vacume thing but I just dont know where to start. I dont think the fact that the under side is covered in rust helps any. So any help is very much welcome
