Question steering wheel locking?

Does your truck "lock" the steering wheel when you shut it off? My old LTD would lock the wheel, but my truck doesn't give me that solid lock, just feels like the power steering of course is off. Should it have that definate locking sensation, or is it supposed to be just difficult to turn?

Yes, my wheel always locks.... NOW, there is some play in it until it does lock. Try moving the wheel counter-clockwise and clock wise until it "stops". It should then be locked.
