Ok so When you re gear for a 2wd, they need a new ring and pinion and a master install kit, and then just the but load of labor to install correct?

Friend of mine in my school's auto department has had to take apart his differential for the past three years and re assemble it as an assignment. He said if i had the parts to re gear , he would install it for free. Is there anything else i might need?

Gear lube and a bottle of friction modifier if you have a limited slip. A tube of sealant for the cover.
