Question need some help

I have a 1996 ford f150 and would like to have a positrack unit installed in the rear end. I have been quoted brands like eaton, auburn, and detroit true trac and was hoping that someone may have also had this modification done and if so what brand of posi unit was installed and how satisfied or not you are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have any personal experience yet. But I've read a lot about the Detroit truetrac (made by Eaton), all good. It is very similar to the torsen differential that is used in the Hummer.

If you need a true locker though, I'd go with the Detroit Locker. (in fact I intend to go with one in the rear and a truetrac up front some time soon)
