CV boot replacement.

For a guy that's somewhat mechanical and a reasonable set of tools, do you think I'd be able to replace the R/F CV boot?

You'll have to replace two if the outer is bad. You have to remove and disassemble the inner just to get to the outer. Boot kits are $25+ each. I just replaced the whole half-shaft.

Yep, did some more research on it and decided to just replace the half shaft. I know a good shop near by, they'll do it for around $140. I figure that's o.k.

The axleshaft is very easy to replace. I just did my R/F for the second time a few weeks ago. If you remove the sway bar link you don't even need to take off the tire. Should take a half hour if you're reasonably smart. Oh and that spindle nut is a 35mm.
