What do you mean "give you"? It gives you instant choice; it gives you all the engine's torque to both wheels; it gives you more to maintain & more to break.

hi im new at this forum i have a f150 fx4 supercab 5.4 and im looking 4 the best option i like mud very much, which option is better the true trac or the limited 4 this truck.

Neither is "best". What works best for you depends on exactly what you drive in, your truck's weight/suspension/tires, & MAINLY your driving style.

my truck is stock supercab fx4 right now i have 18 rims with the 275/65 r18 goodyear at but in a few months im gona install 325/65 r18 nitto at and im looking for options on the upgrade for better traction i go 1 r 2 times a month on this mud trails somethings they r heavy but not all the time but i rather 2 be prepair

For the $500-1000 you'd spend just to change one diff, you could get a nice used winch & mount, which will get you out of a lot more than a diff will.

But back on point... When you go mudding, how do you normally get stuck? High center? Digging holes (throwing dirt)? How many wheels go down? Or just sinking (no dirt thrown)? All 4 staying on top, but no traction?
