intermediate shaft

Anyone know of any tricks to getting the intermediate shaft and u-joint onto the gear box? The splines are lines up correctly and its halfway on, but that mother wont move at all any more. Would heat work?

I had a bugger with it recently my self. I found that if i cleaned off the splines good and hold up further on it and wiggle it and it slid right on. I need to be good at it i have to remove it to change the oil filter .

Glad I've got the relocation kit.

Got everything back together, and naturally the p/s fluid return line leaks. I had tried to put it into the gear box twice but both times it wouldnt thread nicely. Looks like I'll be grabbing a new line....too bad its Sunday night.

These neverending repairs are wearing thin....and they've only started

I only need to do to the v10 swap. I plan on a reloc kit eventually. I have not had too much trouble with the lines. They are a bit tricky at times with the angles and what not. Sor far so good.
