4.10 gear name brands

Gonna put 4.10 gears in my truck for more low-end. Who makes a good gear or can I just get one from Summit, Jegs, EBAY?

Thanks, Corey

Ford Racing has some, Richmond makes them I believe. That's what I went with.

I would assume an 8.8.....Factory rear-end. I didn't know there were different ones for the newer models. What is diiferent about them.

I'm glad I asked. How do I know which rear-end I have? Is it by year, truck style.....Something I can see visually?

Thanks...CDB

crawl up under the rear of your truck and look at your differential. normall there is 2 tags on it. it gives the dimensions on the tags....

i would say you PROBABLY have a 9.75, but i can't be positive on it.

OK. Looks like an 8.8. Tag reads 3L55 88 (then something else).

I know my gears are 3.55 LS...is the 88 the size? Didn't see a dot.

I just put Yukon in my 02 Screw 4x4 and they are at least as quiet as stock and the factory shims all worked perfect right in the middle of the tolerance range.
