Problems with the 4 wheel drive again in my 03 F-150 FX4. I have already had to replace the little fork in the differential once.
So yesterday i am driving along and all of a sudden it sounds like a jet engine under the truck. So I stop and it feels like the four-wheel drive is going in and out. Never touched the switch.
So I unplugged the wiring harness at the transfer case and it hasn't happen again.
Anyone ever had this happen? All I can guess is that there is a problem in the dash switch and it sent power to the transfer case and engaged four low(I think) while driving at 60 mph.
