Question What size gears do I have?

How can i find out what gears i have in my 1997 5.4 expedition.
the numbers on the tags are...
3 S 935 C-1
L73 9 75 7C20

and on the front differential
it just says 8.8

Im thinking about putting new gears in my truck. I was thinking 4.10's but I dont even know what I have now. I don't have bigger tires or anything but I would like to accelerate a bit quicker.
All I really know about gears is that if I go up to 4.10's the rpm's will be higher and my mpg might suffer. How much higher will the rpm's be? Also will the gears help with towing my 4000 lb boat?
Thanks guys for any help.

Thanks guys. How big of a jump would it be to go up to 4.10's? Would I notice it? How much could the rpm's go up? Also do you think it would be a big difference in mpg. Also i have heard of the mpg going up, or is that just a rumor? As you can tell I dont know much about gears.
