Dava 44 IFS

I swapping out the 3.55s in my 1995 F150 for 4.10s. I already found the correct series carrier. I just want to know if I need reverse cut gears or not. I read something somewhere that said these gears are reverse and I don't know how accurate the article was.

Yes, the Dana 44 IFS (Twin Traction Beam) uses reverse-cut gears, but it should have a ratio 0.01 lower (numerically) than the rear gears. So if you have 4.10s in back, the ideal ratio up front is 4.09 .
