How do I find my gear ratio ???

I have a 97 f150 with 4.6 4x2 styleside. getting 12mph.. that normal ? how do I find my rear end gear ratio ??

12mph is normal when you're only going 12mph.

Click my signature link & look in the 8.8" Axle album. There's a diagram that shows how to read the axle tag. You can also read the AXLE code off the door sticker & then decode it. The 2nd digit is the ratio.
