4x4 Problems!!!!
Have a 94 Bronco, 351, E4OD with push button 4x4. The 4x4 is working intermittently at best. I have replaced the actuator motor on the transfer case per dealer recomendation but that did not help anything. Sometime it will work for a few days then not work at all. Seems to not work when it gets hot or there is moisture or water in the air. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am not new to car work, so if you want me to check out wires and power I have the test lights to do it.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

let me clarify here a little. It will not even engae the 4x4 mode at all. My hubs are fine - checked them a month ago. What happens (or isn't happening) is either the button on the dash works, or it doesn't. I know that this is the symptom of the problem and not the source - that is why I am here on this board now! :-) has been frustrating at best!
Thanks guys,
Chris

Sounds like transfer case motor. Mine failed last January. It wouldn't go into 4 wheel at all. The switch would try to click in but it was jammed.

Ok some more clarification...
The switch does not even seem to have power. Push the button and nothing happens, no lights, no clicking, no nothing! I have checked to see that it was connected properly and all seems good. No lights on the control box either.
