I have a 98 f-150 with a 4 inch suspension/3 inch body lift, with 35's, 4.6
with automatic trans. When I engaged my 4 wheel low it made a loud clunk
then disengaged and the 4x4 light went out. When I turn the 4x4 switch
it won't go into 4 wheel high or low. After checking under the truck, I
noticed that the drivers side axle is wobbling at the differential. Is this a
worn bearing? would this cause something else to fail in the 4x4 system?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
