Tire and gear question.....

I have an 02 XLT, 5.4L 4x4 (Non-FX4) and I have an opportunity to purchase a set of 32 X 10.50's cheap. Here are my questions and I have looked and cannot find the info. I know the FX4 has 355's, but what gear ratio do I have? And can it handle 32 X 10.50"s? I know they will fit under the truck. How much do you think it will kill my MPG? I am sure these have been asked a hundred times, I just can't seem to find the info..... Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey W8, welcome to the site and there is a TON of info here.

Look for the 'axle' code on the door jamb sticker. It'll be like 19 or H9 if you have the 3.55. If the first digit is a number, then it's an 'open' diff. If it's a letter, then it's got the LS.

If it's not either of those two codes, then do a search for 'axle codes' and one of them will have a listing of ALL the available axle codes and what they are.
