Question Transfer case

Today I had a look at my new truck and found out that the shifter for the transfer case came manual, i cant recall if i forgot to order the electric shift on the fly or by mistake it came that way, anyways I am getting a credit for it, my question is whats the diffrence in between the manual shifter and electric shifter, my only concern at the time was that i couldnt install one of those expys center consoles and besides that it doesnt look good well my opinion, would appreciate any info.

If you're leasing -- you'll see absolutely no difference.

If you're planning on keeping it for 15 years, you'll probably escape electircal or motor problems that may plague the rest of us.

(It does look more "manly" tho, so enjoy it.)

Y2K,
Thanks for your reply simple and concise, for all the Mod's that I've invested
it's going to stay for a while not really 15 years but enough to enjoy it, and about the manly look, ummm you are right, this sentence made me change my mind fast.
