What size socket do I need?

What size socket do I need to remove the front hub? It's bigger than anything I have and I already have the truck out of commission with other maintenance. I'm going to have to walk to town to get a socket because my wife is out of town. I want to get it right the first time.

On my 03 2wd abs, To pull the rotor off the spindle, just get a big pair of channel locks, and twist out with it. The nut wasnt that thick, or deep of a nut, maybe like 1/4" max thickness. Does this seem at all like yours?

I'm taking off the whole hub which has the integrated bearing. It's got a big 'ole nut (technical term) about 3/4" thick that holds the hub.

It takes a 35mm socket.

Tip: Leave truck on ground and loosen nut. Keeps axle from turning. If it is already in the air have someone press on the brakes.
