gear swap

Im taking my truck to get the gears swapped tommorrow, Im running 3.55 right now and am going up to 4.10's. I was wondering if any else here has done anything like that, and if so, were the changes significant or just noticeable. It would be nice to have some feedback, thanks

Mine is in there today and I will let you know what it's like. I'm going from 3.73 open differentials to 4.10's with detroit tru-tracs front and rear. I'll let you know.

I run street tires, 285-60R18.

Went from 3.31 to 4.10.
Huge difference, for the better.

Way more power, tows way better, and fuel economy didn't really suffer.

Handles hills a lot better as well.
Rather than the tranny hunting up and down, it stays in top gear and has plenty of power for mild-to-mid grades.

This was the best bang-for-the buck mod I've done.
The blower was the best mod I did.
This is easily the second-best.
