Repair Manual Help

I don't know if this really goes in powertrain, but...

I have the 03 F-150 Sport (as the name implies), and I can't find the Haynes/Chilton manual for it. I think I may have seen the CD on ebay once, but I really would like the hardcopy. Does anyone know where to get this?

(BTW, Autozone doesn't even have it in their master catalog. They even searched the Haynes directory, and couldn't find it (at least that was accessible for a store to purchase for resale.)

If not Haynes or Chilton, are there any other good reliable companies that produce a repair manual (General sort, not just engine repair...)

Thanks ahead of time for your input.

I bought mine for a 2000 on Ebay, it's the Ford 2 volume plus wiring. But, I think the others should be at parts stores all over, seem common anyways. However, I've seen alot of 97-02 f-150 and expy's, not 03/04 yet so ???? Ebay may be your easiest choice, even if you have to ask sellers WTF is up. I would imagine too that their webs may be a place to buy direct from.

Helms sells the real deal factory manuals. As BLUE2K4X4 sez, the workshop manuals are a two volume set; they swap 'em around all the time, but in '03, I think engine, transmission, drivetrain, etc. should be covered in volume 2, and body/chassis/electrical and trim are covered in volume 1. Back around '00 or so, that was the other way around. Then there's the EVTM (Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual) that has the wiring diagrams in it. And finally, there's the PCED (Powertrain Control and Emissions Diagnosis) manual that covers engine controls.

I have both a Haynes and Ford service manuals, nothing compares to factory originals. Haynes are pretty good. Chilton is what my bro has and is pretty happy too.

Won't find one there. Have to buy it from Helms or find one on ebay or from anothe member around here.

They are not cheap........Hold onto your wallet when you get the price quote.

Yup, don't be surprised if they are $125-150 on ebay. I got mine for $75 on ebay, got really lucky, so keep eyes open. Even still, the factory ones are worth it ten fold.
