i need to do the clutch on my 88 f 150 mazda tranny. what is a good inexpensive clutch and also i am going to replace the internal slave cylinder at the same time and need to know what is a goo brand to go with so i dont end up having to take the tranny out again i six months to replace the slave.

i have had all coni seal slave cylinders in all my chevys but they go bad in six months , a year tops. dont want to deal with that with an internal slave. thanks

First off, no good hydraulic clutch kit and release bearing is going to be inexpensive. I would say "buyer beware" of an inexpensive clutch kit for you're truck, unless you have more time and muscle than money.

I have had excellent luck with Sachs clutch kits. The Sachs kit will not come with the hydraulic release bearing assembly. That will have to be obtained from Ford or possibly a local parts Jobber.

In most parts of the USA these parts should probably cost around $250.00. I do not have a catalog on Sachs clutch kits anymore; however, one thing I remember is they give installation notes in the catalog which can be very helpful and point you toward product updates and product installation errors.
