Hello all, I've a 1996 F150 5.0L 122k mls ( new tyres ) that vibrates or shudders at 40-45mph. Its hard to depscribe the vibration, but it shudders through the vehicle and slows it for that instant then its fine and rides well at all other speeds. Any indeas ? Thanks in advance.

 

u joints in the rear drive line mine did the same thing

I have a 1996 extended cab doing the same thing. Have you replaced your u-joints yet? If so did it solve the problem?
