8.8 rear LS

I have a 05 Screw 4.6L with the standard 3.55 without LS (8.8 In 31 spline). Now, I know exactly squat about rear ends and decent manufacturers of limited slips and lockers. I want to get a limited slip put in. I need ideas/suggestions about what to go with. All help is appreciated.

I was in the same boat my friend, I went with Detroits TrueTrac LS and some 4.10s. I knew and probably still now nothing about them either . What I do know is what a difference it made with this swap. I would highly recommend Detroits TrueTracs LS, I have more traction than a Manitowoc 18000 Crawler crane, but deffinately get others opinions. Is your truck 2 or 4 wheel drive.
Good Luck

I'm snoopin around right now for one. I think I'm pretty set on the auburn gear pro series LS. Now I just gotta wait out the holidays and see what's left in the bank. Cheapest I've managed to find is 426 before shipping.
