a liitle help please
I just got my diff. and gears swapped. I had a 3.55 non LS and swapped for a TrueTrac LS with 4.10s.
I have been driving for a couple of days with out any noises or problems.
My ? is, is there a break-in period for a swap like this. My tech told me to drive slow and take it easy for a couple of days. I read in the brochure of the gears or diff. that you should drive causiously for around 500 miles.
Honestly, I have'nt been able to tell if there is a difference with this swap because I am a little too nervous jump on the go pedal. I did notice that it got me through some pretty serious snow yesterday, something I know I would've gotten stuck in with my 2 wheel peel.
Any info would be appreciated.
