Power Stearing

Just curious. Ive developed a power stearing leak and was wondering if this was common on these trucks. If there is anything i need to check out first. I dont know where its coming from yet but its leakin pretty good. Ive got bout 130 thousand on her so sumptins bound to break but just curious if theres something i can be on the look out for.

They aren't as bad as they used to be 15-20 years ago, but Ford pickups are notorious for leaky PS pumps/ reservoirs. Check your lines first- you have a pressure line and a return line running between the pump and the steering box. Good chance it may be just a line.

I give it a '2' on the 'scraped knuckle' index.
