Im looking to put new gears in, and I dont know whether or not to go with 3.73, or 4.10...I dont do very much towing, and I want some more low end...any suggestions??
check your axle tags to see what ratio you have now, if you have 3.55 going to 3.73 wont be much of a diffrence and wouldnt be cost effective, 4.10 would give you more off the line grunt but your highway milage would suffer, good luck
Going on the guess that you have a 355, if I was going to put gears in it I would put a 4.56 in. The difference by going to a 3.73 is small, and 4.10 is only alittle better. I say to hell with the mpg, DONT FEAR THE GEAR!!!!
