V-10 In A 97 F-150??????

I'm attempting to install a v-10 out of about a 2002 superduty 4x4

in to my 4.6 4x4 f-150. What i wan't to do is drop the whole powertrain in,

engine , trany, trasfercase and change the diff to the 9.75. Has anyone out

there ever done this??? I think it can be done but would like to here some

different opinions.

From: Georgia on my mind...
If it'll fit in a Mustang, it'll fit in an F150. The real question is though, why? Unless you've got a lot of time and money on your hands or something.

well you see, since I have 300,000 plus km I figure the engine won't,

last forever and also i wanted to try something new and different.

I think a v-10 in a f-150 could be competative against some of the diesel

trucks out there today. Money isn't much of a concern, I just want to build

something a little different.
