weird noise ?!!
I went through some pretty deep water a couple of days ago and now I am noticing a wierd whine at low speeds. It sounds like its in 4 wheel when its not. Whats up?

Since that is what it sounds like, try putting a chalk mark or piece of tape or something on your front driveshaft, and see if it turns when you are in 2HI. If so, then need to figure out if a hub is still locked, or X-case still in 4HI.
You might want to change your diff fluid. If any water went past the top of the vent tube, you'll have problems by leaving that fluid in the diff.
