Noise in rear end

Noise in rear end

I have a ford 2001 super crew f150 that when a start up from a dead stop and turn to the left or right hard like I am making a u-turn I feel a slight griding sound in the rear end anyone have any ideas

just look at the posts below, if you have the limited slip then it sounds like your clutch packs need to be replaced. some guys were able to just drain there rear end fluid and replace it with some new oil with conditioner and it helped. good luck
